Are you game enough to take up the challenge to design and construct an iconic Singapore lantern? Take part in the inaugural Chinatown Mid-Autumn Festival 2011 Singapore Iconic Lantern Design Competition sponsored by SANYO eneloop and Central. The lantern design must exude a strong and unique Singapore identify and flavour that can be featured at the Chinatown Mid-Autumn Celebrations and represent Singapore at overseas festivals and international events. The lantern has to be designed for both static and mobile displays and it has be to contain an internal light source that will be powered by batteries.

The winning works will be featured and exhibited at the Chinatown Mid-Autumn Festival 2011 events. The top 3 winners will each receive attractive cash prizes of S,000, S,000 and S,000 each.

Registration date: From now till 31 July 2011

Participation is free but registration is required before 31 July 2011. Download the Registration Form from our website or obtain it from Kreta Ayer Community Club and submit via email or mail by 31 July 2011, 1pm to Kreta-Ayer Kim Seng CCC (C/O Kreta Ayer Community Club, 28A Kreta Ayer Road, S088995.
